The ECPC Project Committee has stayed the course of implementing the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals. The Project Committee has remained steadfast in its commitment to delivering the SDGs since the inception of the Ecowas development agenda in 2015. This commitment comes on the back of a strong conviction by the Ecowas member nation's regional-economic transformation will be accelerated very fast if the region is focused on the effective implementation of the SDGs. The principle of Leaving No Nation Behind stands front and center in ECPC drive to bring the fruits of development to every region. ECPC has followed a clear and strategic direction in the implementation of the SDGs through the regional plan. We have prioritized SDG 4- Quality Projects and SDG 16- Contracts, Jobs and Infrastructural developments in the Ecowas regions Development Plan (2019 to 2023), and hence in the 2019 and 2023 Voluntary Regional Review(VRR) reporting. Furthermore, SDG 16 is critical to the Ecowas Region, demonstrated by the fact that ECPC is a Co-chair of the Ecowas Task Force on Project Development in Ecowas countries leading the Ecowas agenda to address the medical and infrastructural development problems faced by the 15 member countries in fragile and infrastructural-related contexts.
